It’s that time of year again! The leaves falling, the weather turning, and pumpkins…pumpkins everywhere!

We know our pets love the Pumpkin Spice Lattes almost as much as we do…but if your pet is not a pumpkin lover, no worries, because there is plenty of Fall deliciousness for our pets to be found!

Here is a list of our Fall Favorites to top off your pet’s bowl!

  • Bone Broth – Bone broths can help soothe your pet’s stomach when it is upset, and they’re great for pets experiencing any types of joint troubles.  It’s also a great way to add more moisture into your pet’s diet and will them help digest their food better. Primal and Steve’s both have frozen bone broth that just needs to be defrosted, while The Honest Kitchen has a dehydrated mix of Bone Broth, and all you need to do is add water and serve!
  • Goats Milk – Another great, easy to digest topper is raw goat milk. Raw goat milk is packed with essential vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, and enzymes. The enzymes in raw goat milk can aid the digestion process. This process makes goat milk more tolerable for your dog to digest than cow’s milk. Answer’s, Primal, and Steve’s all have a frozen goat milk formula. The Honest Kitchen has a dehydrated mix of goat milk called Pro Bloom, and all you need to do is add water and serve!
  • Pumpkin & Sweet Potato – Natural pumpkin provides a great source of fiber which can help with digestive regularity. If your dog has constipation or diarrhea, mix a tablespoon of pumpkin into their normal food. Not only will they love the taste of pumpkin, but it can also ease stomach issues! Similar to pumpkin, sweet potatoes are great for digestive health too!  Sweet potatoes also contain vitamin B6, vitamin C, and manganese. They’re high in dietary fiber, and low in fat. If your pet does not like pumpkin, sweet potato is a great alternative! Fruitables, Weruva, and Nummy Tum-Tum all have a great selection of canned and pouched pumpkin and sweet potato options.

Be sure to check out brands such as The Honest Kitchen, Fruitables, Answers, Primal, Steve’s, and more… Not only do they have a great variety of toppers, their products are a fantastic way to add more moisture into your pet’s diet!

So next time you feed your pet, “spice” it up a little and hydrate their food with a delicious Fall supplement!
