Pricing is based off each individual pet; taking into account breed, condition of coat, and length of service. Pricing is determined by our trained, professional groomers. Your groomer will be able to determine pricing, once they conduct an accurate assessment, when they meet you and your pet.
To maintain a safe, comfortable environment, we require all pets to be current on their rabies vaccinations and to wait at least 48 hours after any vaccinations before checking in. Proof of rabies vaccination in the form of paperwork is required. The waiting period helps to ensure your pet isn’t sore at the injection site, which can cause irritability or lethargy. This waiting period also is to prevent stressing a pet who may be experiencing an unexpected allergic reaction from a vaccine/vaccination. Puppies and kittens between 8 weeks and 4 months of age (3 months in Indiana) may receive services in the salon without vaccinations. Please note: All pets must be in good health prior to receiving any grooming services. If your pet receives another rabies vaccine, we will need to see the updated paperwork in order to record the date.
The amount of time a grooming service takes depends on your pet’s size and the type of service requested. Your stylist will be able to provide an estimated time of completion at check-in or over the phone.
All pets are kept separate from one another. We also groom our furry friends straight through! This means that there is no prolonged waiting between the bath and the grooming table which reduces anxiety and the appointment time.
For maintenance, nails should be trimmed at least once a month. If you are trying to get the nails shorter, coming in every 2 weeks will help make the vein in the nail recede back.
Many of our locations have regular nail trim days to help maintain your pet in between grooming appointments. Connect with your local store on social to stay in the know on special events.
Dogs requiring a haircut should be groomed every 4-6 weeks, and yes, you can come in more often for maintenance baths.
Although cats are great at grooming themselves, it’s still important to get them professionally groomed once every four to six weeks. Proper and regular grooming is a great way to stay on top of any potential health problems.
Yes! We can use any shampoo brought from the vet or from home as long as it is a dog friendly shampoo (this is usually listed on the bottle).
Our deshedding shampoo helps loosen the hair follicles of the dead, or heavy undercoated hair. This in turn helps blow up the undercoat when we use the high-pressure dryers and aids in comfort when brushing out the pup. When used regularly, it can decrease shedding up to 80%.
