Safety first, always effective
They use ingredients found in section 25(b) of the Federal Insecticide Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). These are active and inert ingredients the EPA has exempted from federal registration because they are minimum risk and generally regarded as safe (GRAS) by the FDA. It’s also important to use to only use 25b ingredients so they don’t have to do animal testing. These ingredients are also known to be effective, plant-powered biopesticides.
Natural essential oils
They use only steam-distilled natural essential oils and they properly dilute them in their solutions. Experts agree those are the two most important factors in essential-oil safety. They also use only cat-safe,
phenol-free varieties.
Free of artificial dyes and fragrances
The look and scent of their products come from plant-powered ingredients, including the steam-distilled essential oils. They never use artificial colors or fragrances.

TESTING STANDARDS: All efficacy testing was performed by third-party, independent, USA labs in the spirit of GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) standards. Tests were performed as double-blind studies including a control, and in some cases, a leading brand (competitor) product. In vitro (lab) testing methods were used to assess product performance while avoiding animal testing, which is against Wondercide’s ethics policy.
